Hair is secured neatly in a bun. Jazz classes are to wear a solid colored leotard or tank, black spankies or jazz pant, and nude dance paws. Hair is in a ponytail or bun. Tumbling classes wear a leotard or unitard of choice. Hair is in a ponytail or bun. Class leotards, as well as tights, and ballet shoes, are available for purchase from the studio.

Tuition

Tuition is paid in three equal payments due on the first class of September, December, and March. Tuition paid after the 10th is subject to a $10.00 late fee. There is also a $12.00 fee for all returned checks. Monthly payment plans are not preferred but can be arranged for special circumstances. Tuition is calculated PER CLASS. DISCOUNTS- A 10% discount is offered to families with multiple students enrolled at Rocky Mountain Dance. A 15% discount is taken off 2nd and 3rd classes. Only one discount may apply.

Attendance

It is very important that dancers attend classes regularly and on time. There is no tuition credit for missed classes. Dancers with repeated absences may not be allowed to perform, as it is difficult to rehearse with dancers missing. We appreciate parents picking up their children immediately following class, particularly those taking the final class of the evening.

Performance

The faculty at Rocky Mountain Dance believe that performing is not only enriching and inspiring, but that it is a vital part of a dancer’s education. At RMD we perform two times per year, in the latter part of December and May. Dates for our performances are listed on our calendar. A twenty dollar performance fee (per family) is due upon registration. This fee goes to help cover the costs of building rental for our two performances. Due to increased building rentals imposed by the School District, admission to the performances will be charged. Dancers will purchase a costume for each routine that they perform in. In most cases, costumes will be worn for both the winter and spring performance.
